Just like all programs at all ITCC Community College of Indiana's campuses, the student body is made of a diverse group. Students in our program range from just out of high school to retired. The average age is 26, but students range from 16 to 73. Many are degree-seeking students, while others are design professionals from the industry taking courses to advance their careers. We also have a diverse racial and ethnic population.
No matter the age, race, or ethnicity, all our students have one thing in common: their future is bright and promising. Our state-of-the-art facilities provide a means to learn, while our respected instructors come from a background with years of experience in their particular field interest. Blend that with real-world experience in student internships, and the odds are good for new careers or advancement in a current one.
Our students also have the opportunity to make a reputation for themselves while enrolled in classes. Group projects give them a feel for what a real-world job would consist of and gives them a chance to manage their products. In addition, they also have the chance to get in the spotlight as individuals with interactive CD-ROM and web portfolios, as well as our annual Exhibit.
